The Bed ships free in three boxes designed to fit upstairs and through hallways, as needed. Although able to be carried by one person, it’s truly a breeze with two.

We ship throughout the U.S, with free shipping within the continental U.S. Currently, we do not have an ETA on international shipping, but please stay tuned!

Once your order has shipped, we recommend using FedEx Delivery Manager, which allows you to provide additional delivery instructions, request packages to be held, and customize your deliveries. If you'd still like help, please don't hesitate to send a note to our Concierge team at help@thuma.co.

We do our best to make sure all 3 boxes arrive together, but sometimes boxes within the same shipments may arrive at different times. Unfortunately, this is out of our control. If you haven’t received all 3 boxes, please go to your shipping confirmation email to access your FedEx tracking number. There you will be able to click on “multi-piece shipment” which will provide access to all 3 tracking numbers corresponding to your shipment with estimated delivery times.

In the unlikely event that The Bed arrives damaged, please don’t hesitate to email help@thuma.co. Include pictures of the damaged pieces, and we’ll make sure to ship out replacements right away.

Once removed from the packaging, The Bed can be assembled in around five minutes by one person without tools. For those who prefer to take their time, you're still likely to be all set-up in under fifteen minutes.

No box springs or bed skirts, please. The slats are perfectly spaced 3” apart to support your mattress while providing optimum support and breathability for your mattress.

Natural walnut coloring boasts unique wood grains and organic imperfections. Subtle color variances are to be expected and celebrated. The bed will appear slightly warmer in artificial light, cooler in natural lighting, and darker in dim lighting.

The PillowBoard is designed to perfectly slide between your mattress and wall (or any flat surface behind your bed). It is not attached to the frame. When used correctly, it is designed to stay in place, while being easily removable, as needed. .

Yes! The slip cover is easily removable and washable so that it is easy to keep things fresh. For best results, wash cold and hang dry, or dry clean as needed.

Yes, the PillowBoard has been designed to sit between your mattress and wall, or any flat surface, accommodating for any extrusions(like walls and window sills) up to 2" in size without any problems.

Yes. The Bed has been designed to work with almost all mattresses, including foam, bed-in-a-box, spring, combination, and traditional mattresses. The Slats are spaced a little less than three inches apart for optimum support and breathability.

We want everyone to love the The Bed as much as we do, but if for any reason you’d like to initiate a return, we’re here to help. We offer a 100 night risk-free trial. Reach back out and we’ll setup the return. We ask that you hold onto your original packaging if you're thinking about a return. We’ll send you prepaid shipping labels, and once the product is checked at our warehouse, we’ll issue a full refund.
